Offered for sale is a genuine antique Fabergé gilded silver ladies cigarette case. The square case is fully enveloped by a beautiful pale green, translucent guilloché enamel. The thumbpiece is set with a row of rosecut diamonds, and the ends are wrapped with bands of gold acanthus leaves. This case was created by Fabergé workmaster August Hollming between 1908 and 1917 in St. Petersburg, and was made from the higher grade 91 standard silver. This piece bears a Fabergé original scratched inventory number of 17958 and a later retailer's inventory number of 1689.  Contained in a custom fitted retail case. It is in pristine condition, with no damage or repairs whatsoever.
